About This Episode
In this episode, Demetri Panici and Aytekin Tank show how connectors work together with MCP (Model Context Protocol) to create, submit, and manage Jotform forms — all automatically.
In this video, you’ll learn how to:
- Use connectors to integrate different products and services
- Connect Jotform through MCP to automatically create forms
- Generate test submissions without manual input
- Retrieve submission data and export it to an Excel spreadsheet
- Create reports and reuse workflows with customizable skills
- Save time by automating repetitive form-based tasks
Whether you’re experimenting with AI tools, building workflows, or managing form data at scale, this demo shows how flexible and powerful Jotform connectors can be.

I'm going to show a demo about the connectors. Um, let me share my screen. So, I'm going to do uh basically I'm going to show how to use like connectors and you can it has many connectors like there's lots of products that you can add connectors. uh they have like these director of uh different connectors or if you have like a MCP uh server that you can just connect that as well. So there's just so many options and JForm is actually one of them. So I'm going to show this Jatform example and let's see how do I get out of here. Uh let's do this. Okay, we are back here. So I'm going to use the Jatform connector. It's available. So I can just say because I already connected to my J form account I can just say create a um and let's create space
here create a contact form using J form. Basically whatever kind of form you want to create you can do it and it will just use the uh MCP connection with J form to create a form for us. Uh and these are the steps here. Uh basically uh we can see the details here. Um it's it decided on what questions to have on this form and sending a request MCP request J form and um it's going to create a form for us now. Okay. So, it created this form. Um, and obviously if I open it, uh, it's not going to be visible, but I'm taking a look at it. It's just a regular contact form. But I will also I will now ask you to do some test submissions on this form. Do some uh test do for example three test submissions on this form. And
basically it can also like fill out the forms using MCP as well like for us so that we can actually see how it um while it's working on that I'm going to show the um and I'm going to show this uh contact form it created here it is uh so basically created a simple contact form with all these questions on it and uh it's now making submissions to it. Uh let me go to that. All right. Um so basically it created these test submissions for for us and um we can ask for it to um get the data into an Excel uh into a spreadsheet. >> Okay. >> Um also create a report about it. So I'm making a secondary request as well. Okay. So basically it's using the same connection to get the data and um two steps list the submissions running a skill.
So while it's working on this uh let me show you about the skills. Uh basically um if you go to settings here uh we will see capabilities different capabilities skills. So you can actually teach skills to it teach new skills and these are some example skills. Um, for example, Slack gift creator, you can just uh for example, this skill gives it powers to like uh create gift files. Um, so like if you're doing something a lot and basically you can create a skill about it and then you can reuse that skill uh whenever you need to use it. So let's go back to this uh this work now. And we can see here it um created this uh file now for us. Again it created the Excel file and placed it in that folder and uh we can see the submissions in the Excel file.
You know if you want to do anything with this file right um we can do that as well.
